Boundary Value Problems for First Order Impulsive Difference Equations ∗

In this paper, first order impulsive difference equations with linear boundary conditions are discussed. By using a new comparison theorem and the method of upper and lower solutions coupled with the monotone iterative technique, criteria on the existence of minimal and maximal solutions are obtained. AMS subject classification: 34D20, 34A37.

Stability and Stabilization of Impulsive Stochastic Delay Difference Equations

When an impulsive control is adopted for a stochastic delay difference system SDDS , there are at least two situations that should be contemplated. If the SDDS is stable, then what kind of impulse can the original system tolerate to keep stable? If the SDDS is unstable, then what kind of impulsive strategy should be taken to make the system stable? Using the Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique, we es...

Quadratic eigenparameter-dependent quantum difference equations

The main aim of this paper is to construct quantum extension of the discrete Sturm–Liouville equation consisting of second-order difference equation and boundary conditions that depend on a quadratic eigenvalue parameter. We consider a boundary value problem (BVP) consisting of a second-order quantum difference equation and boundary conditions that depend on the quadratic eigenvalue parameter. ...

China Full list of author information is available at the end of the article Abstract In this paper, we consider a class of impulsive difference equations with distributed delays. By establishing an impulsive delay difference inequality and using the propertie...

Difference Equations of Quantum Current Operators and Quantum Parafermion Construction

For the current realization of the affine quantum groups, a simple comultiplication for the quantum current operators was given by Drinfeld. With this comultiplication, we prove that, for the integrable modules of Uq(ŝl(2)) of level k + 1, x(z)x(zq) · · · x(zq) are vertex operators satisfying certain q-difference equations, and we derive the quantum parafermions of Uq(ŝl(2)).
